Try before you buy

You can produce a complete tenancy agreement and set of terms and conditions in the Tenancy Agreement Generator and read them in full before spending anything on the standalone template. If you are unsure whether our documents suit you, do that first. Every toolkit page also lists exactly what is inside it.

Digital downloads

When you buy a toolkit or template you are asked to tick a box confirming you want your files straight away and that you understand this means giving up the 14 day cancellation right that normally applies to online purchases. Once you have ticked that box and the download has been made available, the purchase cannot be cancelled for a change of mind. This includes buying the wrong toolkit, buying a toolkit and then deciding you only needed part of it, or deciding after reading the documents that you would rather use a solicitor.

Your rights if something is wrong are not affected

If a file is corrupt, will not open, is missing from the pack you bought, or is materially not what the page described, that is our problem and not yours. Tell us within a reasonable time at hello@rentrightkit.co.uk and we will repair or replace it. If we cannot, you get a refund of some or all of what you paid, depending on the problem. This is your legal right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and nothing on this page removes it.

The subscription

Cancel the Agreement Generator subscription whenever you like and it runs to the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund part months. We will not take another payment after you cancel.

Expert calls

Move or cancel a call with at least 24 hours notice and we will rebook it once at no charge, or refund it if you would rather not rebook. With less than 24 hours notice, or if you do not attend, the fee is not refunded. If we have to cancel, you choose a new time or a full refund.

Business buyers

If you are buying for a business, including as a letting agent or as a landlord operating a property business, the consumer cancellation rights described above do not apply to you. Our own policy above still does.

Chargebacks

If you think something has gone wrong, please email us first. We answer quickly and we can usually fix it the same day. Raising a chargeback without contacting us costs us a fee whatever the outcome, and we may decline future orders from an account that does so.
